Become an ILC Ambassador
The important part of Indiana Lyme Connect (ILC)’s mission is to educate Hoosiers about ticks and provide effective, doable tick prevention strategies to prevent the spread of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. Since 2023, ILC’s Tick Aware program has been an effective tool to educate gardening and walking clubs, elementary schools, local park programs, family camps, landscape companies, neighborhood associations, and even a state park.
However, we need help to reach Hoosiers in all parts of the state and to meet the requests for our Tick Aware program. ILC’s Ambassadors program is part of that solution, training Hoosiers to equip their own communities.
ILC Ambassadors are trained volunteers who bring awareness of Lyme and other tick-borne diseases and the prevention of these diseases to their own community through ILC’s Tick Aware program. There are a variety of volunteer options depending on the volunteer’s preferences.
If you are interested in becoming part of the ILC Ambassador team, submit an application. Send application questions to: ilc@indianalymeconnect.org
Please note: ILC will not be hosting the next Ambassador training until Summer 2026. If you are interested in being contacted when the training sessions resume, complete and submit the form below.
